Holistic Integrative Training

The Minster Centre specialises in training in integrative counselling and psychotherapy, focusing on mind, emotion, body and spirit within a social context and offering a specific map of integration. Our training offers an active engagement in the main psychotherapy traditions:

  • Humanistic - the person to person relationship
  • Psychodynamic - the importance of the unconscious
  • The Body - the physical basis of emotion experience, growth and change
  • Transpersonal - experience beyond the factual and material whilst addressing the impact of the social and political environment.

Foundation Courses

Our Foundation courses offer a comprehensive grounding in counselling and psychotherapy. This gives:

  • the chance to really engage with the field before deciding whether it is a career for you.
  • access to a recognised professional diploma training without the need for previous experience or qualifications in a similar field.
  • a certificate course for those in related professions where counselling skills are an asset or boost career prospects
  • the opportunity for personal development.

Professional Training

Our Diploma, PostGraduate Diploma and MA Courses are accredited by:

  • British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
  • United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)
  • Middlesex University
